Here’s a little about Hopscotch: the shop was founded in 2009 by Alice and Michael and after over 14 years it has grown to become something of a Barnet and North London institution with an ever expanding reputation.
Loose Leaf Tea from the finest importers
We have over 120 different quality loose teas to choose from, with a range that is continually expanding. Buy loose, in our green striped paper bags, or in sealed pouches, in caddies or bring your own tea container for a top up. We will always supply a label that details the character and composition of the tea, as well as it’s origins. We also stock a range of infusers, reusable bags, compostable bags and other tea-ware.
We very fortunate to have a bricks-and-mortar presence in Barnet High Street, North London, and are one of the few remaining independent tea and confectionery shops in the region, selling high quality loose leaf teas and British confectionery alongside American candy and continental and Nordic liquorice. We were once described in The Telegraph as one of the finest three London sweet shops “vying for the title of London’s best emporium”!
Hopscotch is also a haven for cakemakers with an extensive stock of Cake Decorating Supplies and sugarcraft materials. We stock products for all cake makers, from amateur to professional.
We are a fully independent family business, who believe that value and quality count. We strive to provide a warm, friendly and knowledgeable service for our visitors.
We love our teas, and of course our sweets and what they mean to our customers and we enjoy sharing the creative journeys of our cake makers.
