Indian Black Spiced Chai


Chai is drunk throughout Asia in many different forms. The truest way to drink it is by adding spices to boiling milk along with sugar and very strong black Assam tea.

This Indian Black Spiced Chai blend is made up from a mixture of spices and fine tippy Assam leaf tea. This is the perfect mixture to give all the flavours one would normally associate with Chai.

Brew with freshly drawn boiled water for 3-5 minutes or to taste. Experiment with it on its own or you may choose to add milk and or sugar. If you’re making this at home, try adding a couple of teaspoons of the mix to a pot of milk boiling on the hob to get the real authenticity of Indian Black Spiced Chai coming through.

Ingredients: black tea (India, China, Sri Lanka), ginger root, cinnamon bark, cardamom seeds.
