Lapsang Souchong Fine Blend



Harvested in the summer in the Fujian region of South Eastern China, this tea is taken from the Souchong leaf: riper, larger leaves from the lower parts of the tea bushes rather than youngest budding and topmost leaves.

After fermentation, these leaves are roasted on hot iron pans for a short time, and then smoked over exotic woods rich in resin. This fine Lapsang Souchong has a large, open, black, slightly greyish leaf with a sharp note of smoke. The taste is smoky and spicy.

Brew with freshly drawn boiled water for 2-4 minutes. Serve with or without milk.
