Organic Genmaicha – The Harmony of Tea and Toasted Rice
In Japan, Genmaicha is traditionally brewed in large bowls, where the floating grains of puffed rice, affectionately called Blossoms or Flowers, can be enjoyed as a light snack to satisfy “a little hunger in between.” Depending on personal taste, the puffed rice may also be strained out before serving.
Our Organic Genmaicha is crafted with high-grade Sencha from the Kagoshima Prefecture, grown in the misty Kirishima region, renowned for its pure spring water and fertile volcanic soil.
The result is a cup with a fresh, balanced flavour, gentle sweetness and delicate caramel undertones, offering both comfort and sophistication in every sip.
Brew with freshly drawn or filtered boiled water, cooled for 2 minutes, for 1 to 3 minutes.
