Spearmint – Egyptian Mint
Spearmint (Mentha Spicata) is native to the UK, Europe and Asia but has naturalised further afield to America and Africa. It is commonly known as garden mint.
As a tea it has many virtues. It is a deliciously refreshing drink but with the bonus of many reputed medicinal qualities.
