The small tea plantations in Nepal are still partly operated by so-called “small holders”. These are family businesses, producing top quality orthodox tea in small quantities. The very high altitudes of up to 2,400m produce fine aromatic teas.
This quality tea has the classic Himalayan clean and crisp taste. Due to the extreme cold winters it has a short growing season so the leaf does not acquire any bitterness.
Refreshing and delicious it reflects the high elevation of its origin.
Brew with freshly drawn boiled water for 3-5 minutes. Serve with of without milk.
